We offer our services and training in the fields of Counselling, Hypnotherapy and Indian Head Massage.

What Is Counselling?

Counselling is a way of addressing problems by talking them through with somebody who can be supportive, whilst not directly involved in the situation.

Counsellors are able to do the following things:
  • Listen to what you have to say
  • Allow you to express your feelings
  • Enable you to explore and understand your difficulties
  • Help you to try and find ways to manage these issues more effectively
The emphasis on counselling is to encourage you to feel change, as opposed to telling you what you should and should not do.

What Is Hypnotherapy?

Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis is not a state of deep sleep. It does involve the induction of a trance-like condition, but when in it, the patient is actually in an enhanced state of awareness, concentrating entirely on the hypnotist's voice. In this state, the conscious mind is supressed and the subconscious mind is revealed.

Hypnotists are able to do the following things:
  • Induce relaxed trance-like state
  • Suggest ideas, concepts and lifestyle changes to the subconscious
  • Promote healing and positive development
  • Reprogram behaviour patterns to the mind, enabling irrational fears
Hypnosis is thought to work by altering our state of consciousness in such a way that the analytical side of the brain is turned off, while the non-analytical side is made more alert.

What Is Indian Head Massage?

It is an alternative therapy in which the head, neck and facial areas are massaged with the purpose of manipulating energy channels. It is a popular massage often requested for general well-being.

Massage Therapists are able to do the following things:
  • Alleviate stress and tension while promoting relaxation
  • Relieve headaches, neck and back pains
  • Restore joint mobility, improving circulation and concentration
  • Stimulate lymphatic drainage, helping to remove toxins and boost the immune system
Indian head massage soothes comforts and harmonises the body's natural balance, thus helping to promote the physical and psychological well-being, leaving the client with a sense of tranquillity, focus and vision.

Additional Hollistic Therapies

In addition to the above, we also provide services for Thai Foot Massage, Swedish Massage and Aromatherapy Massage.

Thai Foot Massage is a 45 minute treatment that involves the lower legs and feet. A relaxing, theraputic experience, it helps to create balance and well being as well as stimulate several reflex points.

Swedish Massage is a 1 hour full body treatment that helps to reduce muscle stiffness and increase joint mobility. As such, it is also good to help you relax and unwind.

Aromatherapy Massage is a 1 hour treatment that involves using essential oils across the body. The oils are chosen and blended to meet the client's needs and are known to help with stress relief, promoting deep relaxation, stimulating the immune system, increasing energy levels and providing a general sense of well being.
